We have powerful maps of matter, energy, and information, but no comparable map of consciousness, value, and action.
In order to build large-scale systems that support human flourishing, we will need a map of meaning. I'm sketching that map at Cartographers Guild, and building its first applied system: Chronicle, a protocol for making credibility and accountability native to the web.
