Action
Action is the selection and actualization of a frame. Given a set of counterfactual frames, the subjects will evaluate and select the one that seems most favourable, typically the one with the best Potential.
Good action isn't dependent on the outcome. In the movies, when the hero does the right thing and loses, are his actions any less good? We judge hero's actions based on the frame he adopts during challenging times—based on the orientation of his aim. That is where the moral lessons—the right and wrong patterns of action—are communicated, because that is where we can make a difference in our lives. We can't control the outcome, but we can control the choice of a frame—how we act.
What frames present themselves for selection depends on the intention or the Aim (Your thoughts are the handmaiden of your aim). The choice and therefore action is both constrained by intention and guided by intention.
